Completion date: October 21, 2026
Location: Bethel, CT
The homeowner in Bethel, CT, wanted to upgrade their outdated windows and sliding patio doors to improve energy efficiency, natural light, and the overall appearance of their home.
The project involved replacing windows of different sizes and styles, including a large arched specialty window, multiple double-hung windows, and wide sliding patio doors. Each replacement needed to complement the home's exterior and maintain a clean, consistent finish.
Superior Remodelers completed the window and sliding door replacement, installing new double-hung windows, an arched specialty window, and modern sliding glass patio doors. The upgrades gave the home a fresh, cohesive look while enhancing natural light, comfort, and everyday functionality.

I really enjoyed working with Mike! We had to do a complete overhaul of our roof. Superior Remodelers (Mike) made sure we got it taken care of immediately especially since it was raining in our house. I’m completely happy now that I don’t have to worry about the roof anymore!Posted on Google

Elona Logue7 days agoOutstanding work, start to finish! John Varca and his team at Superior Remodelers did an exceptional job on my lakeside home. They replaced the windows, siding, roof and deck, and every part of the project was done to an extremely high standard. The flashing work was flawless, and the attention to detail shows everywhere you look. John is a fantastic communicator who kept me informed at every step, and our project manager, Aldis, was outstanding all around. This was not an easy project, but the team never once complained. They always showed up exactly when they said they would, and they worked tirelessly to make sure I was completely happy with the result. Superior Remodelers is hard-working, reliable and genuinely wonderful to work with. I couldn't be happier with how my home turned out, and I recommend them without hesitation.+4Posted on Google

TheDudeWhoDudes24 days agoThe wife and I moved into our home a few years ago . Only thing we didn’t like was the washed out yellow wooden shingles that was turning to pulp and inviting woodpeckers in. We had a few diffrent businesses come to see what they can do . The only place that we ended up trusting and going with was Superior. Every step of the way we felt heard , understood and appreciated as customers . We went for a wild look and they saw the image my artist wife wanted and made it a reality . Could not be happier . They did not just do an amazing job on the siding they did our gutters and the front window . Affordable - trustworthy - recommend a hundred times overPosted on Google
Lisbel Rosario33 days agoSuperior Remodelers did a great job installing our bay windows. The crew was consistently on site, kept our home clean, and delivered the windows as outlined in our contract. Everyone was polite and took care to do quality work. Mike, the project manager, was easy to reach prior to and throughout the project. We had a few minor punch list items, and he and his team addressed them quickly without any pushback. The project took a little longer than expected, but they were in constant communication where timeline was concerned. Mike also took the time to walk through the finished work with my wife and myself to make sure we were satisfied before closing out the job. Honestly, it was truly a pleasure to work with Mike and his team. The new windows have made a significant difference in our home. I would recommend Superior Remodelers for window replacement and will keep them in mind for future projects. I am writing this review weeks after the project was completed to give it time for incidents but there have been none. Mike called us weeks after to make sure we are still satisfied with the install/project. 100% recommend this team!Posted on Google

sally robilotto56 days agoSuperior Remodelers was a reliable company with which to work. I have recommended them to our neighbors. The windows and door look great!! They add much value to our home. The guys that did the installation were meticulous (and they had a challenge working with a 40 year old home that was anything but square!!). The price seemed expensive, but I don’t know if we could have paid less with another company. The quality of their products is very good also!!Posted on Google

K Sullivan68 days agoI had Superior Remodelers replace all of the windows in my home. John Varca, the General Manager was incredibly helpful, accommodating and responsive throughout the process. The quoted price for the scope of work was very reasonable. The team of installers led by Johnny was so hard working, very skilled and efficient. I am so happy with my new "most energy efficient" windows which qualify for a rebate through Energize CT. I plan to use Superior Remodelers for a future project. They are complete pros who deliver high quality products and they are super to deal with. I highly recommend them.Posted on Google
Nancy Beausoleil69 days agoAwesome people to work with! Superior Remodelers handled our siding project with outstanding professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Our home and garage look absolutely beautiful! From the quote through the final cleanup, this team was truly top notch. Mike Murphy was amazing to work with - never any hard sell. He was patient, informative, involved, and consistently kept us updated throughout. He walked us through every step listening and advising when we had questions. As the work progressed several unforeseen issues were uncovered. Each one addressed with exceptional craftsmanship by an outstanding crew led by Eduardo. His constant communication with Mike kept the repairs and installation moving smoothly. At no point did we feel the challenges were a problem. The crew worked together like a well oiled machine. They were efficient, professional, respectful of our family and made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. I highly recommend Superior Remodelers for any home improvement project. Quality and a team approach with the homeowner are clearly priorities with this company. You won't find a better team nor a better partner for your journey than Mike. Meesha-Ann Daley71 days agoI don't normally take the time to write reviews, but I wanted to recognize Mike Murphy and the team at Superior Remodelers because my experience with them has genuinely been a good one. Mike has been great to work with. He's knowledgeable, responsive, and, more importantly, he actually listens. I tend to ask a lot of questions and want to understand exactly what I'm getting before making a decision, and Mike has been incredibly patient throughout the process. He never made me feel like I was being difficult or asking too much. What I appreciate most is that I never felt like I was just being sold something. Mike was straightforward with me, gave me his perspective when I asked for it, and allowed me to make the decisions that were right for my home. It's refreshing to work with someone who understands that these projects are a big investment for homeowners and treats them that way. My experience with Mike and Superior Remodelers has been nothing but positive, and I would gladly recommend them to someone looking for a contractor they can feel comfortable working with.Posted on Google

Melissa Reynolds96 days agoWe had an outstanding experience with Superior Remodelers from start to finish. Our project included a full roof and insulated vinyl siding replacement, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. A huge thank you to the General Manager, John Varca, who was exceptional throughout the entire process. His attention to detail truly set this experience apart and was the reason we went with this contractor. He suggested finishing touches, like adding crown mantels above our garage, that made a huge difference in the overall look of our home. Every change or recommendation was discussed with us first, so we always felt informed and involved in the decision-making process. On top of that, John was incredibly responsive. Whether we called, texted, or had a question or request, he always got back to us quickly and made sure everything was taken care of. We also want to recognize both the roofing and siding crews. They worked extremely hard during a heat wave, were professional, and took pride in their craftsmanship. What impressed us most was their commitment to making sure everything was right. Whenever we noticed a small adjustment or had a concern, they came back promply to make sure we were completely satisfied. They never made us feel like we were asking too much and genuinely cared about delivering a finished product we were happy with. We highly recommend Superior Remodelers to anyone looking for a contractor who communicates well, pays attention to the details, and takes pride in delivering excellent results. Steve Koz201 days agoWe were looking to replace our front door. Three companies selling the Provia door line gave us quotes. Not only did John at Superior Remodelers give us the best price, it was also for the proper door. Other two companies said we had to go with aluminum trim that was similiar in color. When John gave me his price I asked why the model number was different figuring that's why his price was less. He said I thought you would want a matching fiberglass molding. Yes we do and was told we couldn't get it. twice! Johnny and John, yes 3 Johns work there, showed up on time and did an awesome job. Close wasn't good enough, they made sure it was perfect. Janet Wilson215 days agoFrom start to finish, this was one of the easiest home improvement projects we’ve ever done. Our old windows in our new condo were over 50 years old - drafty, difficult to open, and especially made this past winter miserable. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly respectful of our home. They explained every step clearly and never pressured us into upgrades. Installation was fast and seamless—they replaced all our windows and double slider doors in three days start to finish -- and thoroughly cleaned up inside and outside afterward. The results are amazing. Our house is noticeably quieter, more comfortable, and we know that our energy bills will drop -- especially with the tinted glass they had installed on the windows that get the afternoon sun. Oh, and we almost forgot to say how awesome they look; what a beautiful upgrade to our home! We highly recommend Superior Remodelers to anyone considering window replacement—you’ll immediately see and feel the difference.Posted on Google

David Troy307 days agoWhat started off as a project to replace some rotted French doors with windows turned into replacing all the windows in my home. Superior Remodelers & Windows was outstanding from the beginning. We got quotes from 3 companies, and while all were good and reputable, the team at Superior just went to a different level from the beginning. They really took the time to listen to what we wanted, explain our options and educate us on the different window options and construction of them. The job was started on time as promised and finished on time. In all, 30 windows a mix of replacement and new construction, framing a new opening and more in less than 5 days. Their crew was professional, clean and reliable. No more drafts or worrying about rotted sills and leaks. Can’t thank Dave, John and Otis and his crew for an outstanding job. And I used to build houses so my standard for quality of work is pretty high. The team at Superior exceeded my expectations.Posted on Google

Alexis Vargas319 days agoI contracted Superior Remodelers for replacing 8 windows, and I am very satisfied with the whole experience, starting with the sales process where they were informative and not pushy and came prepared with computer applications that showed realistically what the different windows would look installed, even sending renderings from the outside of my own house to compare between regular double hung and bucket windows. I think the price was fair, positively competitive against to other 2 quotes I received for triple pane premium windows. Their time estimate for fabrication was on point , and so was their time estimate for installation. During installation, they sent two gentlemen that had great attention to detail and provided me with superb installation quality and were very careful with moving the furniture that was on the way. I am happy with my Okna EnviroTech 800's and I will likely contract with this company again for other remodel I have planned. Post everything, they also helped me with the paperwork needed for EnergizeCT incentives. Thanks to John and his team!Posted on Google

John was great to work with, took the time to walk through questions about the new windows, was fair in pricing and realistic (but quick) with timelines. The installation just happened this week - his crew was skilled, efficient and clean. There are more windows to tackle and I'll definitely be giving Superior another call.Posted on Google
Robert Dunkle347 days agoWe purchased windows years ago from Superior Remodelers (then they were under a different name) when we did an addition in our home and more recently windows for a new garage. Dave was very helpful, no pressure sales, and honest. For example, the windows we purchased many years ago a small part broke on one window and I called Superior Remodelers. They told me that the part was covered under warranty when they could have easily charged me for the part(s).Posted on Google

Matthew Liaw364 days agoWorking with Superior Remodelers was a pleasure. Upon reaching out the team was very courteous and not pushy which we were very appreciative of. Their knowledge on windows is extensive and they have great products. We now had a few days to test out our new windows against cold air and they did a far better job at keeping our place warm than the original windows. One thing that could have been nice is sealing the nail holes on the molding but nothing major. Work on our roof was efficient and done well. There was a good selection of colors to choose from. The leaking area was fixed and subsequent rains did not cause any issues. However, there were a few nails left behind. We greatly appreciate the effort to put some of the heavier items back in their place. Finally, we accidentally overpaid. However, upon reaching out, Superior Remodelers were very quick to correct this issue. Overall, great, quality work. Some areas of improvement. Highly recommend for their honesty and professionalism.Posted on Google

Anthony Link448 days agoI needed a new front door to my house and received estimates from 6 different companies. Superior Remodelers came in with the lowest bid, and I made the the right decision to go with them. They are amazing. The work crew, Johnnie and Kristaps, were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took out the old door, repaired some water damage, and had the new door in within one day. The price was good, I didn't get gouged for the extra work to repair the water damage, and the door is perfect. As far as I'm concerned, I don't have to ask for six estimates anymore when I have a home improvement job, I'm just calling Superior. Had another job for Superior to repair my roof gutters and soffits. Again got a good price and am quite happy with the results. The gutter guards they installed have already been worth the added expense, and my house looks amazing!+2Posted on Google

Jarelle458 days agoThe old siding on our entire home was replaced and the results are Phenomenal! They removed everything right down to the plywood to ensure that nothing needed to be replaced due to damage of moisture or critters. The house was wrapped, insulated and then properly sided. The crew's craftsmanship was evident in every detail, from the custom made channels that were intigrated in the door and window trim, to the smallest of areas like corners on the sofets. We appreciated the professionalism, communication from start to finish, punctuality and responsiveness throughout the project. The crew forman kept us informed on what they were doing and also provided options for us to discuss on how we wanted things done, along with addressing any questions on the project right away. Jonathan QPublic491 days agoIncredible workmanship and integrity at a fair price! I can’t say enough about how well our project turned out. The Superior team took the time to listen to my concerns and incorporate all of our preferences into the “build”. We had Energy Star windows, James Hardie siding , and a new Owen’s Corning roof installed. All high end products at a very reasonable price. As a retired Engineer, I’m a bit of a stickler for details; and I can tell you that this team does the right thing (even when nobody’s looking). I would recommend Superior without hesitation (and have already done so).+1Posted on Google

Kim Schueschner547 days agoI can’t say enough good things about Superior Remodelers. John the GM came to provide a quote for windows and sliding glass door the same day of my initial inquiry. He was very personable and quite knowledgeable. His pricing was surprisingly fair and lower than other estimates for a comparable and even better product. The morning of the scheduled install, I received a call from John letting me know installers were on their way. The installers were so professional and very hard working men. Their work ethic was impressive. When finished, they cleaned up leaving the area better than when they began. Overall, I am quite pleased. A great local business right in our backyard. Cameron Gilchrist588 days agoI needed spray-foam insulating done at my home to correct frozen pipe problems left after a bathroom renovation project. I wanted someone close-by and with good references, and Superior fit those requirements. Dave came out within a week to review the work area and to offer a quote. GM John patiently worked with me to wait 10-11 weeks for warmer weather to proceed with installation. Superior's specialist, Gustav, arrived fully briefed, and he quickly found deficiencies left by my bathroom contractor. Within 2 hours Gustav had prepared and treated the areas that required proper insulation. Thanks to Superior's professional work and skilled staff, I'm looking forward to no more pipe freeze-ups in future winters!Posted on Google

Marina Zavalina598 days agoThis company handled a significant window replacement for us—over 30 windows and patio doors. Dave's initial visit was thorough: he explained the options, took precise measurements, and gave us a clear estimate. We went to their showroom to see the windows firsthand, which helped us decide. They stuck to their timeline for getting the windows ready. The install happened while we were out of town, but our handyman was there. John and the crew worked efficiently, and they kept our handyman in the loop. They even went the extra mile by getting custom wood trim for the outside, which was a nice touch. They took photos of the finished work and sent them to us. Plus, they were surprisingly clean—minimal wall damage. Bottom line: we're happy with the results. They did what they said they'd do, and the windows look great!+2Posted on Google
Robert Bavolacco602 days agoSuperior Remodelers most definitely chose the PERFECT name for their business, as the results of my recent replacement window installation experience was beyond superior! From the initial consultation with Dave, to the install-related process with John and his very-qualified crew, the entire experience was absolutely amazing. John kept me up-to-date on everything, and the crew arrived exactly at the time quoted. They actually left my home cleaner than when they started and took the necessary care as if they owned the home. As for the product, the Okna 800 Series window system is also 'superior' in every aspect. I could not be any happier with Superior Remodelers, and will definitely refer them to anyone looking for very professional home remodeling services at very competitive pricing.Posted on Google

Ed770 days agoVery professional install of triple window and patio door. Since we couldn't replace the Marvin window panels because they were no longer made, we had to go the vinyl replacement route. We didn't expect a very good outcome, but had no choice and matched the best we could. John suggested to change all 3 of the windows for a better look. The 2 side swing out wooden windows were rotting at the bottom. By installing all 3 as one unit the look was like factory. The vinyl wood frame was a very good match. Not perfect, but hard to notice. At least now when they get wet, and they will when they're open and it rains, no sweat, they just wipe dry and will never rot. The outside aluminum work was perfection. So we got good advice and pro install = very pleased customer.+3Posted on Google
